PlaceRadar is a hyper-specific workspace discovery platform for students and remote workers in Sleman, Yogyakarta. Instead of generic cafe listings, it ranks places by the things that actually decide whether you can work there.
What it does
- Filters and ranks places on Wi-Fi stability, outlet availability, and ambient noise.
- Reviews with user roles and admin moderation, plus AI-generated review summaries.
- Image handling split between backend storage and frontend display via a public CDN URL.
How it is built
React + Vite frontend served alongside an Express backend, orchestrated with Docker Compose (frontend, backend, workers, infrastructure) and deployed behind a reverse proxy.
